By popular demand we have now reprinted for the second time this intensely interesting diary of bro. Robert Roberts voyage to Australia and New Zealand in 1897-98. This book has been out of print for 12 years.

The voyage started in England in August 1897 and sadly ended prematurely in September 1898 in San Francisco when bro. Roberts died suddenly en route to his home in Birmingham.

The 154 page diary is notable for the insightful comments bro. Roberts makes about life and the ecclesias he visited on the east coast of Australia and from Invercargill to Auckland in New Zealand. It also includes detail of the arrangements made for his funeral in New York.

This book was assembled from a range of sources by Graham Travers of Melbourne to commemorate the 17th Australasian Youth Conference in Adelaide, September 1983 under the auspices of the conference secretary Andrew Johns and the CSSS secretary Brian Luke.
