The book is copiously illustrated by the inclusion of many photographs and maps and has  a 3 page index  of brothers and sisters and the places they lived.

The author sis. Beryl Young is from the Holmes family who accepted the truth in the mid 1860's. She has spent most of her life in New Zealand and in later years moved to Brisbane Australia.
